Bubble Boom
The brief was three balloons. No mechanics, no rules, no direction. So a pirate octopus turned up, started inflating them, and the whole thing became a crash game: multiple bets, a character-driven flow, readable UX and a world that feels alive.

BUBBLE BOOM | CRASH GAME
A NONOGRAM STUDIO project
The client came to us with nothing but a visual idea:
“We want a game with three balloons.”
No mechanics. No rules. No direction - just the image of 3 balloons that somehow needed to become a working crash game.
Our task was to take that raw request and build a complete concept around it:
a functional system, a visual identity, and a character who could bring the whole experience to life.
That’s how the pirate octopus appeared - inflating the balloons, launching them upward, and giving personality to every round. From a simple three-balloon request, we developed a full crash game with readable UX, solid logic, and a playful world wrapped in clean Nonogram visuals.

Bubble Boom is a fast-paced crash game where every round starts with a pirate octopus launching balloons skyward. Each balloon represents its own bet, and the player can fire up to three in a single round. The higher they rise, the higher the multiplier climbs… until they burst.
A pirate-inspired troublemaker living in the deep sea, driving the entire game with personality. Every launch, reaction, and pop is tied to the character’s expressive animations, giving the mechanic a unique identity.
The octopus inflates balloons through gadgets, spits them upward, reacts to risk, and celebrates successful cash-outs.
Balloon movement, inflation, and burst effects are tuned to maximize anticipation and impact.
Bubble Boom brings a refreshing twist to crash games:
multiple bets, a character-driven flow, and a visual world that feels alive.
A pirate octopus, three balloons, and constant rising tension
