Melbet
MLB: Space Rescue
A short 3D film starring Melbet’s bee, in place of another ad nobody finishes watching. Concept, modelling, texturing, rigging, animation, VFX and sound, all done in-house. The story carries the brand, so the logo doesn’t have to shout.

SPACE RESCUE
“Build a cinematic sci-fi animation featuring the MelBet mascot. The piece should feel dynamic,
story-driven, and incorporate the brand’s visual identity.”
This cinematic sci-fi animation was created for MelBet Partners and Affiliates. The brief was to produce a visually strong piece set in a futuristic world while integrating recognizable elements of the brand’s identity into the story and environment.
The animation opens inside a spaceship cockpit where the robotic bee mascot receives an SOS signal from a nearby planet. Something has clearly gone wrong - the planet’s honeycomb shell is breaking apart, with large fragments drifting through space.

The bee heads down to investigate. Once inside the damaged world, it moves through unstable structures and fractured environments, navigating deeper into the planet in search of the source of the problem. The environment reflects the collapse of the system - broken infrastructure, dark skies, and scattered debris.
At the core of the planet the mascot transforms into a high-speed repair vehicle. Racing through a network of hexagonal tunnels, it reconnects the system piece by piece. As the vehicle moves through the structure, the honeycomb cells begin to power up and the planet gradually restores itself.
All assets for the project were modeled, textured, rigged and animated in-house at Nonogram Studio. From the character and transformation mechanics to the environments and motion design, everything was developed as part of a single pipeline. The sound design was also produced internally, helping shape the rhythm and cinematic atmosphere of the animation.
The project blends character-driven storytelling with stylized sci-fi environments and hexagonal design motifs inspired by bee architecture, turning a simple rescue mission into a compact visual narrative.
